Yield Estimate: 398 plants (based on flask surveys done 12/11/2017 through 09/25/2018)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.

The origin/habitat information below is supplied courtesy of Charles and Margaret Baker

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Vietnam. Seidenfaden (1979 & 1992) indicates that this orchid is endemic to Vietnam where it has been collected in Annam, at Dalat, near Kon Ha Nung, and at Tram Lab. Unfortunately, no precise details of habitat location or elevation were reported, so the following climate table and cultural suggestions are based on the reported Dalat collection but should be used rather cautiously until such time as more exact information is available. Siegerist (2001) reported the occurrence of this species in Vietnam, Thailand, and the Malay Peninsula, but gave no details. Seidenfaden's work on orchids in this region failed to reflect this distribution.
