The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Thailand and Vietnam. In Thailand, this orchid is found in
the southwestern mainland near Siswat, Kanburi. In Vietnam, plants have
been found near Djiring, which is just southwest of Dalat. Habitat
elevation was not given, but based on topographical maps of the reported
habitat locations, we have estimated the elevation as 1950 ft. (600 m).
The resulting climate table and cultural suggestions should be used rather
cautiously, however.
