Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 35 plants (based on flask surveys done 02/19/2014 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 20 - 40 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 05/21/2014 )
From one most recently surveyed flask 20 - 40 mm (05/21/2014)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widespread in southeast Asia. The habitat includes the Lushai Hills region of northeastern India, the area near Lake Inle in Burma, and the mountains of northwestern Thailand. Plants are also reported in several locations in Laos, including the Vientiane and Xieng Khouang regions. In southwest China, plants grow in Yunnan Province. The orchids usually grow on rocks or tall trees in full sun at 4150-5250 ft. (1260-1600 m), but they have been found as low as 2500 ft. (760 m).
