Culture Notes from Donor: Pod parent plant: Very aggressive grower. Can put on 4 growths per year, becoming a good specimen plant. Appreciates limestone and oyster shell in an open mix. Likes light between 1000 and 2000fc. Grows fast at 70 to 100°F.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Peninsular Thailand. Plants are found on limestone islands
near the mainland on the east side of the Phuket-Krabi Gulf. They grow on
the northeast and east facing cliffs from sea level to about 150 ft. (0-50
m). with roots either attached to the steep cliffs or in humus-filled
pockets in the rock. Plants usually grow in bright places, often in full
sun.
