ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Himalaya region including northeast India in Sikkim
and the Khasia Hills at 4250-5600 ft. (1300-1700 m). The habitat extends
eastward across Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, and westen China. In China,
plants are reported in Tibet, Yunnan, Guangxi (Kwangsi), Guangdong
(Kwangtung), and Hainan at 2650-8850 ft. (810-2700 m).
