Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:

Yield Estimate: 150 plants (based on flask surveys done 06/21/2005 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The northwest Himalayan Region. Plants are known from central and eastern Nepal, northeast India in the Khasia near Shillong as well as in Manipur, near Darjeeling in Sikkim, Bhutan, Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand. Plants are found at 3300-8200 ft, (1000-2500 m). Although reported as occurring in Thailand, Seidenfaden (1988) stated that this species had not been recorded in Thailand.
