The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northeastern Australia. The habitat is located along the
eastern side of the Cape York Peninsula between the Tully and Broomfield
Rivers. Plants grow on trees and shady rocks in open forests and
rainforests. Plants are often found in exposed locations at 3000-4000 ft.
(910-1220 m), but they also grow near sea level.
