ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippine Islands. These plants have been found on
Mindanao, Leyte, Biliran, Catanduanes, Palawan, and southern Luzon. The
species seems most heavily concentrated on Mindanao, however, where it has
been reported in the Provinces of Agusan, Davao, and Surigao. The plants
usually grow on tree trunks at low elevations.
