Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plants: Temperature range C (52-70°F)
Comments: Pollen parent plant: The photo of the plant with capsules illustrates the amazing lengthening of the inflorescence after pollination. When I pollinated the flowers, the inflorescence was shorter than the leaves (maybe 2 1/2"). Now, after 163 days it's 12 1/2"!

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northeast India. Found in Sikkim and the Khasi Hills at
7000-10,000 ft. (2150-3050 m). Plants grow in dark, misty, fog-enveloped
forests on both mossy tree trunks and branches and mossy rocks in regions
where Magnolia and Rhododendren are common. The habitat is characterized
by high humidity almost year-round, and almost everything is covered with
moss.
