Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
See if we have plants available in the greenhouse.
Yield Estimate: 120 plants (based on flask surveys done 03/18/2004 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 20 - 35 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 09/29/2004 through 11/02/2004)
From one most recently surveyed flask 20 - 35 mm (11/02/2004)

The origin/habitat information below is supplied courtesy of Charles and Margaret Baker

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippines. This orchid was described in 1991 from plants grown in cultivation. Specific details of habitat location and elevation were not given, but Siegerist (2001) reported that plants "can be grown in a warm to intermediate setting in a basket of pot with the usual loose mix, protection from direct sunlight, and regular, copious watering." Climatological data and elevation have been selected based on this information, but the resulting climate table and cultural suggestions should be used rather cautiously until actual habitat information is known.
