Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
16 plants (based on flask surveys done 02/20/2015 )
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 5 - 60 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 01/06/2016 )
From one most recently surveyed flask 5 - 60 mm (01/06/2016)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: India and Burma. Plants are widespread in the hills of
southwestern and southeastern India and the foothills of Sikkim at
1000-1300 ft. (300-400 m). In India, plants have been found in Orissa,
Jaspur, Gujarat (The Dangs), Konkan, West Ghats, and North Kanara. In
Burma, the habitat includes the western hills near the Indian border and
along the eastern border with Thailand. Plants usually grow on rocks and
secondary shrub vegetation near streams in warm, humid, tropical zones.
The species has not been found in Thailand, but since it occurs in the
Tenasserim region of Burma, Seidenfaden (ref. 454) suspects that it may
also occur in the mountains of northwestern Thailand.
