The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Vietnam. This epiphytic orchid is found in the
northeastern province of Cao Bang near Tra Linh as well as near Ha Giang.
Plants are rather rare in the region, but they may be locally common near
ridge tops. Plants are found in open, dry, mossy, primary forests of mixed
and coniferous trees that are growing on weathered limestone at 2150-2950
ft. (650-900 m).
