The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Java. A rather rare plant which has been found only in western Java at elevations of 2950-3300 ft. (900-1000 m). Comber (1990) reported that he has found only a single plant that was growing on a tree trunk in a fairly open area west of Bogor.
