ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico. In Mexico, these plants are found in the states of
Vera Cruz and Chiapas where they grow as epiphytes and terrestrials in
dense forests, open pinelands, and on rocky slopes at elevations up to
6550 ft. (2000 m).
