Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range CI (58-75°F)
Comments: Parent plant: Very showy small plant. Leaves are 12 inches long, pseudobulbs 3/4 of an inch. This 12-growth plant fits comfortably in a 2-1/2 inch pot. The flower was over 1-1/4 inches across. Plant appears to have had 4 flowers.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. Few details pertaining to the habitat of this
orchid have been reported. Pabst and Dungs (1975) indicated that it is
found in the states of Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, where it grows in
both the wet, coastal mountains and the drier plains and savannas of the
interior. Based on Pabst and Dungs, we estimated the probable habitat
elevation as being under 3300 ft. (1000 m), but this is far from a
certainty. Growers should, therefore, use the following climate table and
cultural suggestions somewhat cautiously until more accurate information
becomes available.
