ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. This orchid is found in the states of Bahia,
Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro where it grows in mountainous rain or
cloud forest in the coastal mountains at 650-1650 ft. (200-500 m)
elevation.
