Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range W (70-90°F). It likes to be exposed to warm to hot weather, swing in the breeze in a basket, and be watered every day. It does have to be taken in when the weather is anything below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Widespread across southeast Asia eastward from Nepal, Bhutan, and northeast India across Burma (Myanmar) and Thailand into Laos, Vietnam, and southern China. Plants have also been reported in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This is the most common and widely distributed species of the genus. Plants normally grow at 800-2800 ft. (250-850 m). In Thailand, this orchid is found in many regions, with most collections reported from the mountainous region in the northwest near Doi Suthep, Chiengmai, Mae Hong Song, and Chiengrai.
