Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 480 plants (based on flask surveys done 12/21/2005 through 02/15/2007)
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 20 - 70 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 05/19/2006 through 08/20/2007)
From one most recently surveyed flask 30 - 70 mm (08/20/2007)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northeastern Australia. Plants grow in the southeastern part of the Cape York Peninsula from the Johnstone River to the Annan River. They are usually found in rainforests near mountain tops at 2600-4900 ft. (800-1500 m), where there are breaks in the forest and heavy dew, fog, and low clouds are common. They normally grow in shade on forest trees. Plants growing at higher elevations are usually lithophytic and tend to be small and spindly.
