The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northern Sumatra. Plants are found at 1300-1650 ft.
(400-500 m) in the vicinity of Mt. Leuser. They grow in humus on the floor
of dwarf forest on top of limestone hills.
