Comments: Pod parent plant: Flowers close up somewhat during the night. They are pleasantly fragrant during the day. Adult plant is not large.

Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:
For Species:   Spring, Summer, Autumn: days average 77°F, nights 65°F; best fit is intermediate 83-60°F (Source: Baker's Web OSC)

Yield Estimate: 298 plants (based on flask surveys done 02/09/2006 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Endemic to northeastern Australia. Plants are common on the Cape York Peninsula between the Burdekin and Annan Rivers. They usually grow above 2600 ft. (800 m) in exposed, north- to west-facing locations on cloudforest trees or in protected spots in open forest.
