Flask Information
Availability: We have sold all of the flasks for this item.
You should: Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask.
You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.

You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.

You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had.
Yield Estimate: 300 plants (based on flask surveys done 05/11/2004 )
Yield estimates are only approximate, but may appear to be fairly exact numbers because they are a combination of large rough estimates in remaining mother flasks and more accurate small estimates in reflasks.
Plantlet Sizes: From many flasks 25 - 55 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 06/14/2004 through 11/30/2004)
From one most recently surveyed flask 25 - 40 mm (11/30/2004)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil, in the extreme northeast. Plants are found in the hot, humid lowlands around Recife in the state of Pernambuco. They usually grow on shrubs and small trees in coastal swamps which are flooded during the rainy season. Collections in the states of Paraíba and Ceará have also been reported, but specific habitat information was not given.
