ORIGIN/HABITAT: Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaya, Sumatra,
and Java. In Java, plants are fairly common in the central and western
parts of the island and are usually found at 350-5250 ft. (100-1600 m) not
far from the south coast. Plants usually grow on tree trunks. but they
occasionally grow on rocks. In Thailand, plants are reported in all areas
from the mountains of the north to the hot lowlands in the south.
