Pod Parent Flowers

Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range CI (58-75°F). The plant is grown on a small block of tree fern. It seems to like to dry quite a bit between waterings, as the roots grow much better and attach to the block.

Comments: Parent plant: Small plant at 5 years old. The branched flower spike with 15 or more blooms is much larger than the plant. It blooms on each new growth.

For additional origin/habitat information supplied courtesy of Charles and Margaret Baker, see further below, near the bottom of this page.

For Species:   Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter: days average 83°F, nights 61°F; best fit is Intermediate 83-60°F (Source: Baker's Web OSC)
