Comments: The Stanhopea bucephalus is a typical plant of my hometown in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. It grows at about 3 meters from the floor of the forest on the big trees, the plants look for partial shade, there are two kinds, black and yellow-light color. It will not be known which color this plant is until it reblooms. The natives call it "cabeza de toro" (bull head) or "torito" (little bull).
