Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range Warm-Intermediate 87-64°F, cooler season Cool-Intermediate 75-58°F. Potted in 70% Bark, 20% perlite and 10% tree fern.
Comments: Parent plant: Small golf ball sized bulbs, and tall 2 foot tall leaves makes the plant top heavy in a pot. Easy grower but difficult to bloom.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana, Brazil, Peru, and
Bolivia. Plants grow on the shaded, forest floor in wet mountain forests
of the lower eastern slopes of the Andes. In Peru, plants are found at
about 2950 ft. (900 m) near Oxapampa in the Department of Pasco.
