ORIGIN/HABITAT: Moulmein, Burma at 4920-8860 ft. (1500-2700 m). Plants normally grow in open areas on bare rocks and in rock crevices. The habitat includes the northern mountains of the Burmese peninsula along the Burma-Thailand border and Nagaland, on the border of northeast India and northern Burma.
