Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Mounted on a cedar shingle with a layer of sphagnum.
 
Comments: Parent plant: Smallest species of Restrepiella. Grows to about four inches tall. Produces bright red-purple leaves that fade to green as they mature. Flowers last about two weeks and produce powerful odor when they first open that becomes weak after the first couple of days. VERY RARE! First described in 2017.
 

Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:
For Species:   Spring, Summer, Autumn: days average 87°F, nights 64°F; best fit is Warm-Intermediate 87-64°F (Source: A. M. Doucette pers comm)
For Species:   Winter: days average 70°F, nights 52°F; best fit is Cool 70-52°F (Source: A. M. Doucette pers comm)
