The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Assam region of northeastern India, northern Thailand,
Laos, and Vietnam. In Thailand, plants grow in the Nan district and near
Huay Gok. In Vietnam, they grow near Dalat and Blao. In China, plants have
been collected in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Yunnan Province, and on Hainan Island
near Lingmen and Hongting.
