ORIGIN/HABITAT: Jamaica. Plants are found in the Cockpit Country, St. James, Hollymount, St. Thomas, Worthy Park, and rarely in St. Andrew. They generally grow on trees near flowing water in full or partial shade at 500–1000 ft. (150–300 m) in areas with relatively high rainfall.
