ORIGIN/HABITAT: Australia. Plants grow on cliffs in the coastal mountains between the Barron River at 16.8S and the Mossman River at 16.5S. They are usually found on bare rock, often in almost full sun, at 1000-1950 ft. (300-600 m). Plants are sometimes found in the lower parts of trees, usually no more than 10 ft. (3 m) above the ground.
