The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.
This text is copyrighted by the Bakers and may not be reproduced without permission.
ORIGIN/HABITAT: Papua New Guinea. Millar (1978) misidentified and
discussed this species as Bulbophyllum fletcherianum Rolfe. She reported
its occurrence in Papua New Guinea where it grows in rainforest at up to
1950 ft. (600 m) as well as in several special locations such as cliff
faces and rocky outcrops. Vermeulen (1993) reported its occurrence in
Central Province but gave no details as to habitat location or elevation.
