Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
180 plants (based on flask surveys done 11/05/2008 through 09/24/2009)
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 50 - 110 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 07/07/2009 through 05/03/2010)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico southward through Central America to Costa Rica and
possibly Panama. Plants in Mexico have been collected in the state of
Chiapas at about 650 ft. (200 m). They have been found in Belize at
2300—3300 ft. (700—1000 m), and there have been many collections recorded
from Nicaragua, mostly from Caribbean-facing lowlands and slopes, in the
provinces of Atlántico Norte, Atlántico Sur, Boaco, Chontales, Jinotega,
and Matagalpa at 500—6250 ft. (150—1600 m), but most were made at
1300—3300 ft. (400—1000 m). In Costa Rica, plants have been collected in
the provinces of Alajuela, Cartago, Heredia, Puntarenas, and San Jose at
150—4900 ft. (50—1500 m), but most were made at 350—2950 ft. (100—900 m).
