Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Comments: This seed was supplied as "Oncidium maculatum 'MC4393' x self" with what we believe was a falsified parent photo. The offspring is clearly not maculatum, but instead is leucochilum, unlike the supplied photo.
Parent plant: Medium-sized plant.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. In Mexico, this orchid
grows in the southern state of Chiapas. In Guatemala, plants are found in
the Departments of Chimaltenango, Guatemala, Quiché, and Santa Rosa.
Plants are epiphytes in both humid and dry, wooded mountains at up to 6550
ft. (2000 m).
