Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:

For Species:		Spring, Summer, Autumn: days average 88°F, nights 71°F; best fit is Warm 90-70°F (Source: Baker's Web OSC)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. This orchid is found in southeastern Brazil in the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. Pabst & Dungs (1975-1977) reported that this species is found in the hot, humid lowlands, and collections in Paraná and Santa Catarina have been reported that were made near sea level.
