Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
440 plants (based on flask surveys done 05/17/2004 through 09/21/2005)
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 0.6 - 30 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 05/17/2004 through 03/24/2006)

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador and Peru. This orchid was discovered in the
department of Cuzco in the Lares Valley above Mantoc where it was growing
on rocks at 7850-8200 ft, (2400-2500 m). Plants have also been reported
near La Convención along the road to Quillabamba where they were growing
as epiphytes at 5250-7550 ft. (1600-2300 m). Although reported as
occurring in Ecuador, we have been unable to find any details of habitat
location and elevation in that region.
