Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
210 plants (based on flask surveys done 03/15/2005 through 06/29/2005)
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 20 - 70 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 01/05/2006 )

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico southward through Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador,
Nicaragua, and Costa Rica to northern Panama. It is the most widely
distributed of any of the Barkeria species. Throughout its range, plants
grow at 1650-5600 ft. (500-1700 m). In Mexico, they are found in the
States of Chiapas, Guerrero, Jalisco, México, Michocán, Morelos, and
Oaxaca. They usually grow on trees along canyon streams, but plants are
reported to adapt to trees and shrubs along city streets. In Central
America, plants are reported in hillside pastures with low growth, on low
hills with scattered trees, and on rocky hillsides.
