Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F). This plant must be mounted, as much of the photosynthesis happens in the roots. I have seen pictures of this plant growing on a limestone rock, completely exposed. If not dried out too much, it will retain it's leaves, which at best are about 1.25" in diameter. In nature, it is often totally without leaves; It's a very tough plant.
Comments: Parent plant: Miniature. In the photo the violet-colored lip isn't an incorrect color, it actually is that bright a pinkish-purple. The flowers are supposed to be olive, with slight raspberry flushes along the midribs.

Flask Information |
Availability: |
We have sold all of the flasks for this item. |
You should: |
Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |
Yield Estimate: |
10 plants (based on flask surveys done 02/21/2005 )
|
Plantlet Sizes: |
From many flasks 15 - 25 mm plants (based on flask surveys done 11/30/2004 )
From one most recently surveyed flask 15 - 25 mm (11/30/2004)
