Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plants: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Comments: The unpleasantness of this plant's aroma is totally masked by the magnificence of the unbelievable floral display. Here's a flower that can be appreciated from 15 feet away with its 12 inch or better natural spread. Of easy culture, flowers present high, open fully, and are sequential (10-15) per inflorescence.
Pod parent plant: Medium-sized plant.

Consider getting individual plants or compots instead of a flask. You can place a "Notify Flask Recipients" Request, and either we or a flask recipient may contact you when plants are available.
You may also place a "Notify Retries" Request, and if an identical pollination (the same parents) is done again, we'll let you know.
You may reserve a flask, but it's very unlikely you'll get one ...this could only happen if we found a flask that we didn't know we had. |

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Sulawesi (The Celebes). This orchid was discovered near
Donggala, a village on the west coast of the peninsula that separates
southern Sulawesi from the northern Minahassa Peninsula. Details of
habitat type and elevation were not reported, so the following climate
table and cultural suggestions are based on an estimated elevation and
should be used somewhat cautiously.
