The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: The Philippines. Plants are found on Luzon Island near
Balete Pass in the province of Nueva Ecija as well as the province of
Nueva Vizcaya and on the island of Leyte in the Visaya group of islands.
The most recent information indicates plants grow as epiphytes at 350-2150
ft. (100-650 m), but some earlier writers reported that plants were found
on eastern mountain slopes at 4500 ft. (1372 m).
