Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
 
Comments: Parent plant: Imaged flowers are c. 5" (13 cm) in length. Typical for many species in the genus, the flowers are scented of fungus and/or fresh fish.

Temperatures we attempt to use in the lab & greenhouse:

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand. The type specimen was discovered in the Shan Hills of Myanmar, but details of habitat elevation were not reported. Plants have since been found in the mountains of neighboring northwest Thailand at 2950-4900 ft. (900-1500 m).
