Culture Notes from Donor: I grow this species with my vandas in high light conditions from 5,000 to 7,000 footcandles with daily watering. During the winter I allow it to cool off as much as possible, with no water from late November until new growth starts.
Parent plant: Temperature range W (70-90°F)
Comments: Parent plant: This very large flowered cultivar of a spectacular species has all segments of deep, concolor yellow with a large dark orange disk located centrally on the labellum. Substance light, texture crystalline. Natural spread 4.3 cm horizontally, 4.4 cm vertically; dorsal sepal 0.7 cm wide, 1.6 cm long; lateral petals 1.6 cm wide, 1.9 cm long; lateral sepals 0.8 cm wide, 1.6 cm long; labellum 3.2 cm wide, 2.5 cm long.
