Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range CI (58-75°F)
Comments: A miniature species standing only 3-4" (7.6-10 cm) tall. Flowers appear sequentially from a congested fascicle at the apex of the 12" (30.5 cm) inflorescence. Large plants may present flowers all year.
Parent plant: The maximum dimension of the imaged flower (excluding petals) is c. 1" (2.5 cm).

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico. Found in the Sierra Madre Oriental and the
mountains of northern Oaxaca. Plants have been found in the states of
Hidalgo, Puebla, Veracruz and Oaxaca where the grow mostly as epiphytes in
evergreen cloudforest at 5750-7050 ft. (1750-2150 m), but they may
occasionally grow as lithophytes.
