Though we offer very few hybrids, we've included this one because it exists in the wild as a natural hybrid, Cattleya x guatemalensis. This man-made hybrid is similarly named, Cattleya Guatemalensis, and was registered in 1856. |

Culture Notes from Donor: Pod parent plant: I grow the C. skinneri under intermediate conditions with fairly bright light, with a drier winter rest.
Pollen parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)
Comments: Pod parent plant: Cattleya skinneri 'Heiti Jacobs' was awarded in 1981. "Well grown plant with 139 purple-lavender flowers of sparking texture."
