Each separate package of seed is examined because these are generally from separate capsules, which is what we request from our donors.

Packet received was a folded piece of white paper.
Seed has dark debris mixed in.
Seed is pale greenish-yellow to the naked eye, and somewhat fluffy. Only a small quantity of seed was received, so no sample was taken in order to conserve it. Small seeds are short-rice shaped, straight. Dry exam reveals some seeds have embryos and some don't. Embryos provide the greenish-yellow color. |
