ORIGIN/HABITAT: Mexico. This epiphytic orchid is distributed in the states
of Guerrero, Colima and Oaxaca. It grows on the Pacific-facing slopes in
oak, oak-pine or tropical subdeciduous forest, 2450-4250 ft. (750 - 1300
m). Flowering in July and August.
