Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range C (52-70°F). Grows easily in a cool environment. Should not dry out completely.
Comments: Parent plant: Usually a double inflorescence or more producing 5-8 flowers each spike.

The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Colombia and Ecuador. This orchid was found originally in
Colombia in the department of Antioquia, but additional details were not
given. It has since been found in Colombia in the eastern Cordillera of
the Andes in at 6550-8200 ft. (2000-2500 m) in the department of
Cundinamarca and in southern Ecuador in Zamora-Chinchipe Province where it
was growing as an epiphyte in cloudforest at 8200 ft. (2500 m).
