ORIGIN/HABITAT: Ecuador. Plants occur in Pastaza Province near Puyo at
3300 ft. (1000 m) and near Piñas in El Oro Province at 2600 ft. (800 m) on
trees in very wet, mountain cloudforests. Habitat for this orchid is said
to include Venezuela and Peru, but no specific habitat information is
available for those areas.
