The following information is based on the name of the plant provided by the donor, and assumes that the name is correct. If the plant has been misidentified, then the following information may not be correct.

ORIGIN/HABITAT: Northeast India, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam,
and Malaya. Distribution is centered in Thailand and collections are
reported from many sites, particularly in the northern mountains.
Unfortunately, habitat details and elevations are too often not reported.
One collection was reported at Mae Hong Son, so we have estimated the
habitat elevation to be the same as that of the nearby weather station.
The following cultural suggestions are based on an estimated elevation, so
they should be used somewhat cautiously.
