Culture Notes from Donor: Parent plant: Temperature range I (60-83°F)

Comments: Parent plant: Medium-sized plant. This is a new Cleisostoma species that is soon to be described. It is a close relative of Cleis. simondii but differs in the shape of the sidelobes of the lip and the back wall callus in the spur. This is the only known plant of this species and I am hoping that others will soon be located. The plant is a small terete-leaved plant and the 1st flowering produced 3 flowers but I believe a mature plant will produce dozens of flowers on a branched inflorescence similar to Cleis. simondii.
