ORIGIN/HABITAT: Brazil. This orchid is found in the states of Espírito
Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais. Plants usually grow in very
bright light on the upper branches of tall trees at 2600–3750 ft.
(800–1100 m), but large clumps occasionally grow on rocky outcrops.
